Lydia Hearst was born on September 19, 1984, in New Haven, Connecticut. Lydia is the daughter of kidnapping victim Patty Hearst and her former bodyguard, Bernard Shaw. Lydia is heir to William Randolph Hearst’s media empire, which reports $5 billion a year in annual revenue.
Lydia, along with her cousin Amanda, is a Ford model who has appeared on the cover of Vogue on multiple occasions. She has appeared in ads for Prada and Louis Vuitton, and has been a part of campaigns for Clinique, MAC Cosmetics and L’Oreal.
Aside from her famous mother and great grandfather, Lydia’s made her biggest mark in the world of modeling. Magazine covers, catwalks and numerous ad campaigns make up a sizable portion of her modeling resume. Lydia has the kind of look that has enabled her to practically do it all in the modeling world.
Lydia’s partnership with fashion designer Anand Jon in creating designer handbags and jeans shows that she is not content with being just another pretty face on the catwalk.
